Brewed in the vein of a traditional English porter, our porter has a distinct-yet-smooth roasted chocolate, light coffee flavor, nicely balanced with the mild hop nose characteristic of premium noble hops. ABV 5.7%
Irish Red
Irish Red
This medium-bodied Irish red ale is mild on the palate with notes of caramel, toffee, and almond, and has a soft finish. Do you taste a bit of dried fruit? We do, too, but can't quite put our finger on which! ABV 6.2%.
Nosh Doom IPA
Nosh Doom IPA
The Pacific Northwest is synonymous with big, hoppy IPAs, and our ale reflects that style with its bold hop flavors and aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always satisfy, regardless of Seattle’s weather. ABV 6.5%
Mega Chonk IPA

St. Alvin Belgian Tripel
St. Alvin is a golden Belgian ale, clocking in at 9.6% ABV. Don’t let the ABV scare you - it’s a remarkably easy-drinking tripel, with lots of fruit (think apricot and pear) with a hint of vanilla character.
B.A Red Rye Saison
B.A Red Rye Saison
SPECIAL RELEASE! For National Beer Day on 4/7, we put something special on tap that you might not have tried yet—our barrel-aged Red Rye Saison. Aged in a red wine barrel, the batch we have in bottles was our first accidental sour—tart and delicious! This keg on tap is a blended batch, so not quite as tart, but still very much delicious! Just one sixtel on tap—get it while you can!
Czech Pils
Czech Pils
Our flagship beer, the Czech pils pours a rich golden color. Smooth and crisp with a rich malty palate, the pils features the prevalent flavor of the Czech hops, balancing the maltiness with a spicy bitterness. ABV 5.0%
Czech Dark Lager
Czech Dark Lager
A maltier sibling of Czech pils, the Czech dark pours a clear rich dark with amber hues around the edges. Slightly lower in alcohol than the pils, the dark raises the malt with notes of stone fruit and chocolate but finishes crisp and clean. 4.5% ABV
Granat (Czech Amber Lager)
Granat (Czech Amber Lager)
Sporting a rich ruby-red color, the Granat (Czech amber – or garnet – lager) is a semi-dark lager rarely seen outside the Czech Republic. Ours is an easy-to-drink lager with slight bitterness, recognizable caramel aroma, and bright clean finish. ABV 5.3%
Babes in Hopland Dry-Hopped Saison
Babes in Hopland Dry-Hopped Saison
Join us in raising a glass to all the badass women in the brewing industry with a pour of this year’s Ballard Brewed Pink Boots Brew, the Babes in Hopland Dry-Hopped Saison. It’s on taps across several Ballard breweries starting March 8, #internationalwomensday. A portion of sales will benefit @pinkbootssociety / @pinkbootsseattle which supports the education of women beer professionals. This bright saison was made using the Pink Boots Hop Blend, with Vic Secret added to round things out. It has big tropical fruit and citrus flavors up front, setting the stage for classic saison spice and pine notes on the finish. It’s super dry and crushable - a great saison to celebrate all the great women in beer! ABV: 5.7% Q: Where did the name "Babes in Hopland" come from? A: It's a reference to the all-women punk band from the 80s!
German Bock
German Bock
We’ve just put the Bock on tap! A Bock is a traditional dark German lager. Bigger on malt than the Czech dark, the style emphasizes malty-richness and low bitterness. ABV: 6.1%
